We strive to make you feel safe when we collect or share your data and therefore, we want to be transparent on how we collect, use, share and store the information about you and the choices available to you as data subject.
As such, this Privacy Policy is about how we handle the personal information of users of Plime (the Privacy Policy). The Privacy Policy applies to the Plime mobile app (the App) as well as the website located at www.getplime.app (the Website).
We reserve the right to make changes to this Privacy Policy at any time. We will notify you when major updates are made to give you an opportunity to withdraw previously given consent or to deny further use of your data. We may have to update the Privacy Policy in case of new developments, activities, online services or when applicable legislation changes.

We strive to make our App and/or Website easily accessible and to offer you the best possible experience and functionalities. We process technical data of everyone who visits and uses our App and/or Website in order to manage it and improve its performance. We process all functional and technical data that you have entered on our App and/or Website, including your IP address browser, device type, operating system, app version, language settings, timestamps.

You can get into contact with us through the Feature Request and/or Bug Report functionalities of the App. By using either of these, or by contacting us in any other way, we will use your personal information to answer your question or to handle a complaint. You can view the Feature Request and/or Bug Report functionalities without logging into our App. However, if you want to: (i) post, vote for, or comment on a Feature Request; or (ii) view Bug Reports reported by you, post a new Bug Report, or comment on your own existing Bug Reports, you will need to log onto the App.
We process your personal data based on consent and legitimate interest. Where possible, we will ask for you consent before you contact us, such as through the contact form.
We process your (nick)name, contact details, your correspondence with Plime about your question or complaint, and all other personal information that is required to answer your question or handle your specific query and/or complaint. If you include any further personal data in any message or correspondence with us, we may process this as well.
We keep your personal data for as long as necessary to complete your request or handle the complaint, plus an additional month, after which the data will be removed from our systems. You can request all personal data to be deleted from the Feature Request and/or Bug Report functionalities. We will remove all personal data from any details stored by us, but we reserve the right to retain the data in anonymized form.
For relationship management and marketing
Plime may use the details you used to registered with to update you on developments within Plime. Any such updates will be sent as an in-app message. We also use your personal data for the development, execution and analysis of market research and marketing strategies. You may receive push notifications on your App from us to update you on any updates. If you have added your name to your profile on the App, the push notification includes your name.
We process your personal data for this purpose based on your consent. You can withdraw your consent at any time by changing your e-mail preferences.
For this purpose, we process your contact details such as your address and e-mail address and personal details such as your name, contact preferences, and correspondence with us.
Personal data is stored for a maximum of 5 years. After this period your personal data will be deleted from our systems.
To create an account on the App and/or Website and for the use of our services
If you want to use our App and/or Website, we need to process some minor data to be able to set up an account for you so that you will be able to use the services we offer.
Data will be processed on the basis of your consent. We also process data for this purpose on the basis of our contract with you, which is established once you accept the applicable Terms and Conditions.
We do not get access to any personal data you use to log into our App through your iCloud account. However, any personal data that you enter while using the services, such as when you create tasks, goals, or plans on our App is not processed by us. This data will be stored in your iCloud account and Plime will not have access to it in any way. You can also add personal details to your profile on the App. This profile might be seen by other users of the App, but adding personal information is completely optional.
We will retain your personal data for this purpose for as long as you maintain your account and registration with Plime. Upon deleting your account and ending your relationship with Plime, we will promptly delete all personal data.
Plime uses cookies when offering its services. A cookie is a small and simple file that can be stored on the hard drive of a computer. Plime cookies are only temporary, not permanent. More information about cookies can be found at www.allaboutcookies.org.
Google Analytics: Our Website keeps visitor records and metrics, such as most visited pages. This allows us to optimize the layout of our Website. To this end, we use Google Analytics, and we use this data to improve our Website, to compile statistics, and to measure the popularity of different aspects of our Website. We use this data in an aggregated form and therefore this cannot be traced back to any computer or individual. When a third party processes your personal data, this is only possible according to the instructions of Plime. They therefore act as our data processor. We will conclude the necessary agreement with the data processor(s), whereby we include obligations to ensure that your personal data is only processed so that the data processor can fulfil his duty to provide services to us.

However, in the event that a data breach occurs, Plime will, without undue delay and where possible, not later than 72 hours after being notified, report the breach of personal data to the relevant Data Protection Authority.
